[NZD/USD] put in a stellar performance yest rising from an earlier low of 0.5594 to an o/n high of 0.5696 and jumping above the 0.5700 handle early this morning on renewed risk appetite after US Trsy Sec Geithner announcement to remove toxic assets from the financial system. With several large private sector companies like PIMCO coming out in support of the U.S governments plan Wall St rallied hard with the Dow gaining almost 500 points while the S&P rose 54 points and Nasdaq 99 points. With Asia/Pacific stock markets expected to do well today and Fed Chairman Bernanke speaking later tonight, the pair is expected to chalk up more gains towards resistance at 0.5750 and 0.5773 over coming sessions. Buying orders at 0.5655 by NZ corps will protect the downside and selling orders at 0.5740 by a European name will dictate the range this session.
